"What’s Up" The Observatory in Eilat  provides visitors as well as the Eilati community with our Dark Sky Tours in the desert as well as dark skies all over Israel. Those tours consist of searching the skies for constellations and within these constellations we analyze special stars, groups of stars called clusters, double stars, colorful stars, nebulae, planets, and the moon. Depending upon time, and season we also explore other galaxies. Our groups are  reasonably priced and can accommodate the most discriminating astronomer. In the near future we will be set up for our "Sky is our Classroom" experience in which we will be able to share the beauty of the sky with larger groups of people and enjoy the dark skies together.

"מה למעלה" מצפה הכוכבים באילת מזמין אותכם לסייר עמנו אל הקוסמוס בחשיכה.  חישפו עצמכם לחוויה חדשה. ניווט בשמי הלילה תוך גילוי תופעות מדהימות כמו ארפליות, צבירי כוכבים, כוכבים בשלל צבעים, כוכבי לכת וכמובן הירח. כל לילה אנו מציגים חוויה ייחודית של השמיים המתרחבים. תכניותינו מתאימות לכל הגילאים. תזמינו ספארי כוכבים פרטית בחיק המדבר למשפחה או כל קבוצה. בעתיד הקרוב נקים "השמיים הכיתה שלנו" כדי לחוות יפיו של השמיים עם קבוצות גדולות יותר.

Descriptions of planets in English and in Hebrew are taken from Wikipedia .  Many of the links are to detailed descriptions in Wikipedia.  In the future we hope to depend less on the excellent text of Wikipedia and have out own interpretations of this important knowledge.
