Timna Park is about 25 kilometers from Eilat and is known for it”s “King Solomon’s Pillars” beautiful nature pillars, long admired and marked with ancient Egyptian writing and pictures.
There are also ancient Egyptian copper mines to be explored there .

The Timna area is an excellent area for extensive hiking at all levels including the Israel trail which passes close by.

Timna has special programs both in the day and at night.  Group camping is available by reservation and there are facilities for events of all sizes.
